The display is everything you'd expect from a modern IPS LCD. Clear picture and vibrant colours. I haven't notice any shimmering or aspect ration issues. I don't much like the mechanism for adjusting backlight colour and screen brightness. This is done by two proximity sensors stuck to the inside of the case. It looks untidy in a clear case and to be honest it doesnt work perfectly each time. I'd much rather use the existing wheel for brightness, but that would involve a bit more soldering for the installer (wouldn't be a problem for me). But overall this is an excellent upgrade that makes the wonderswan so much more playable in 2021.

Futuristic in nostalgia. holy. Only problem is it's shutting down when i play 'one piece swan colloseum'. I don't know why but cartridge works well on swancrystal frontlit.

Installed on 2 separate WSC, and the install was pretty easy, flex cable is a little too long, but not an issue. Once installed, both systems worked, and have never looked better!! A must for any Wonderswan. Might have to get a few more kits to fit to the rest of my systems. Thanks :)

A bit more complicated than other lcd kits, on board controls can't exactly be wired up to console controls as the buttons aren't using a common ground connection. Power wires are far longer than they should be, and screen ribbon cable is long and requires a lot of folding to get it between the boards. Still a great kit and looks lovely.

got this thing installed and it is amazing. Will be grabbing some more when back in stock ! finally a great way to play my wonderswan collection ! installation was pretty easy, just go slow and be careful .
